For Brazil he should play, Matt Kilgallon... Perhaps anyway, here's a cracking GIF of the silky skilled defender at Manchester City this weekend gone, not only turning two players, but lofting a lovely Rabona, the likes of which even Stephane Sessegnon would be proud. Prettayyyy, prettay good.
Fraizer Campbell here modeling the new Team GB kit to be worn at the Olympics this summer. Could it be a suggestion he's going to be in the squad? Previous players who've modeled it all have expressed an interest in playing the summer, and Campbell joins the growing list, adding; "It would mean everything to play. There has not been a GB team for a long, long time and I would be delighted to be part of a team that competes in our own country and be delighted to be part of something as big as this." Oh Jordan, what have you done! Now, there's all for being a Mag in the Sunderland team, I'm sure plenty have been there before, but lad, have a word with yourself and some respect for your employer. Whilst Mr Laidler, an SAFC youth player of promise, appears to have deleted the tweet, and used youth vernacular along the lines of "haters don't bother me", on this sort of day, it's not wise to put that sort of thing into the open is it? With the follow up tweets, it looks like his account hasn't been hacked, nor am I particularly sure anyone would hack the account of an obscure youth teamer. One would hope club give him a slap on the wrists, and send him to his room with no supper, the little bugger.
Wow!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! As if over 40k turning out to watch a turgid display against West Brom didn't show how incredible the Sunderland fans are, have a look at this! The Roker Report Podcast, after just one episode, has hit the dizzying heights of 22nd in the Sports Podcast Charts! Yes, I can see it says 26th in this screenshot, but I was awoken to the news of hitting 22nd by @Discoking69 on Twitter (Thank you to you sir). Even at 26, we're beating out the likes of Sky Sports News and several BBC Podcasts. Just so you are aware, this isn't a LOOK AT US post, it's a huge THANK YOU to everyone involved, be it contributing or listening. Keep coming back everyone! There'll be a brand new episode online on Thursday!
Hey everyone, look at this!... The Roker Report Podcast is on iTunes now. Get yourself over and subscribed for top SAFC chatter every Thursday. Use this link - http://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-roker-report-podcast/id431043422# Or just type "Roker Report" into iTunes and it should pop up. Any comments or ratings on there would be much appreciated, but your subscription alone would be the best.
Now then, I'm not a qualified referee, but I think this kinda speaks for itself. Then again, I'm not qualified, who am I to judge? Mind, It really really does look like Jay Spearing is fouled outside the area by John Mensah, don't you think?
