Danny Rose and Connor Wickham will be representing their country next week as they take on Serbia, while Adam Johnson is in the full squad for the game against Poland.
On loan defender Danny Rose and striker Connor Wickham have been called up by England Under-21 boss Stuart Pearce for the crunch qualifying double-header with Serbia next week.
The "Young Lions" or "Cubs" as they should probably be known take on Serbia at Norwich City's Carrow Road ground on the Friday 12th of October, with the return leg taking place in Serbia four days later. The winners of this two-legged affair will seal a place in next summer's European Under 21 Championships, held in Israel.
Meanwhile Adam Johnson has been named in the full England squad for the 2014 World Cup qualification match with San Marino at Wembley on Friday 12th October, and the much tougher task of facing Poland away on the following Tuesday night.
Johnson will be looking to add to his record of 2 goals in 12 games for his country after finding himself injured for last months double-header with Moldova and Ukraine. Connor Wickham was a goalscorer for England last time out against Norway in Chesterfield.
Former Sunderland alumni Jordan Henderson finds himself in the Under-21 side, while Danny Welbeck makes the full squad again.
